5 Successful Social Media Influencers

We all know being an influencer on social media is on the rise as brands also start to curate more of their content online. While there are tons of influencers out there, I have put together a list of my top 5 favorite influencers that I follow on Instagram and other social media platforms. These woman have defientely made a huge impact on social media platforms and continue to with their eye catching content. Now lets see which ones I chose....

1. Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner is a 22 year old influencer that is known worldwide. She is also known as one of the first influencers to use Instagram as a platform. She has around 164 million followers on Instagram and around 31.5 followers on Twitter. Kylie Jenner started to become an influencer of sponsorships for other companies. Some of the biggest sponsorships she has done include FitTea, Puma, SugarbearHair Vitamins, and Quay Australia Eyewear. Besides endorsing other business, Kylie Jenner also has her own brand called Kylie Cosmetics in which she sells all kinds of makeup products. Kylie Cosmetic has now become the main brand that Kylie advertises on her page which is not surprising considering it is her brand. One thing Kylie does very well is still engaging with her followers despite how hectic and busy her life can be. Besides beauty, she is also known for her consistency keeping up with the latest fashion trends.

2. Ashley Graham

Ashley Graham is a well known 32 year old American plus size model. On Instagram she has over 10.6 million followers and around 331.6k followers on Twitter. She hosts her own podcast talk show called PrettyBigDeal Podcast which features Graham interviewing  different celebrities and artists. Because of her modeling career, a lot of the photos that Graham posts is modeling woman intimate wear in order to promote the brands. Some of those clothing brands include, Additionelle, Swimsuits For All, and nutritional brand,  OllyNutrition. On Graham's Instagram account she focuses a lot on body positivity and acceptance.  As I see it, Graham's transparency and inclusivity is what has caught the attention of hundreds of women all over the world.

3. Danielle Guizio

Danielle Guizo is a 29 year old fashion designer and business owner from New York. Her fashion brand is called Danielle Guizio which consists of streetwear and modern wear. She has 81.2k followers on her personal Instagram and 324k on her fashion brand IG account. From past interviews, Guizio has stated that she grew her clothing brand straight from Instagram, curating to young trendy women. Celebrities like Bella Hadid, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner have been seen wearing some pieces from her clothing brand. Much of what Guizio posts on her Instagram are videos and photos of her designing process. She also posts a lot of photos of different celebrities wearing her clothing. A lot of her attention comes from her transparency in her creative process in growing her clothing brand.

4. Desi Perkins

Desi Perkins is a 33 year old lifestyle beauty blogger, and Youtuber. On Instagram she has 3.9 millions followers, and 3.3 million subscribers on Youtube. On Twitter she has 746k followers and is also verified. Perkins is one of the most well known Latina influencers out there. A lot of Perkins content is about lifestyle, beauty and fashion. Some of her posts are also ads promoting products from different brands such as Gucci Beauty, Clinique, and Beauty Blender. Perkins has also had a collaboration with sunglasses company, Quay Australia in which she designed her own sunglass designs with the well known brand.  Perkins also had a collaboration with makeup brand Dose Of Colors, in which she created her own makeup collection. As well as posting photos of her outfits and makeup looks, she also posts videos of her makeup and hair tutorials for her followers. Perkins is also very transparent and confident in her Latin identity which resonates with a lot of her Latin followers. Between her aesthetic, passion, and pride for her culture, I see Perkins growing even more as a business woman and influencer.

5. Jackie Aina

Jackie Aina is a 32 year old beauty Youtuber, influencer, and blogger. On Instagram she has 1.5 million followers, 575.7k followers on Twitter and 3.34 million subscribers on Youtube. A lot of her content is based around beauty and makeup which has grown her platforms immensely. Aina has been an advocate for women of color in the beauty industry being a Black woman herself. She has been a part of many collaborations including Anastasia Beverly Hills, Too Faced, e.l.f cosmetics, Sephora and Sigma Beauty. Besides makeup and beauty, she also posts fashion related content that is unique to her own style. Aina is known for giving out the best makeup tricks and secrets to her followers on all of her platforms, which almost always goes trending.  One reason why Aina is so favored in the beauty community is because of her transparency opening up about her difficult past. Jackie continues to grow everyday and it is evident in her work and engagement with her followers on her social media platforms.
